THE DODGE MANSION, ROCHESTER MI, O CANADA AND THE FALLS

It is deja vu all over again as Yogi Berra used to say . We played at the Meadowbrook last night and ,man, we must of played that joint a gob of times. ...Or "heaps of times" as my Australian buddies would say . I have to start practicing my Australian for later in the year . Anywho ...Isaak and iImade our annual pilgrimage over to look at the Dodge mansion which is right next to the Meadowbrook . It is a real interesting architechtural building . It is Tudor but it has some very fine touches which would be because they were loaded ,the Dodges, inventosr of the "CUDA"!!!!!! , and living in the twenties when you could buy a worker all day for a Q-tip. It is not as impressive as the Biltmore outside of Ashville NC , which we saw earlier this year , when we did a private show there . The Biltmore has all the original furnishings. I also went back to the Winchester Mystery house In San Jose earlier this year and you MUST go see that .
The fun thing about Meadowbrook is I re-connect with bunches of Michiganders who come to see us there every year . And for that I am greatfull. These folks make it possible for us to come back every year . Also when we play here we stay over in Rochester which is a quaint town that I enjoy walking around in .
So now we are in Canada for our Niagra shows . 2 nights. And I look forward to meeting fans of our old TV show. Because it was the most popular in Canada and it was on basic cable four times a week . God bless the Canadians, I figured they would have gotten mighty sick of our mugs , at that rate. I saw Raphael earlier heading over to the falls which i guess i will do after I post this .
Hey a couple of last things :
Just wanted to put this out there that ,that is not me on Myspace so dont think i am an ass because I dont respond to that Myspace deal.
Also i am going to have a few days off in Cleveland and I would love any suggestions from the locals there ...Anything ...you can email me at showfolk@ aol.com.
I am reallyl ooking forward to 2 days off so I can rest my throat. I am starting to sound like Andy Divine , who said my favorite line in the classic movie "Stagecoach"..
"All my wife ever feeds me is re-frejole beans...re-frejole beans" You do the math.
You have to say it with a cracked voice though....
