FLYING CAMELS IN NEW JERSEY,JET LAG ROYALE,AND A LOOSE CANON ON THE STREETS OF PARIS....

Lets see.....last time we spoke I was in Australia . Well since then I made it home for one day and then off to New Jersey . The TV show in Jersey turned out to be more fun than expected . I mean I like world class skating as much as the next fella but it is really impressive to see Olympic level skaters in person . And they put up with us pretty well I thought . But man o' man was everyone jet lagged. I would walk into the production office and crew guys would be asleep on tables and the floor and when I walked into our dressing room everyone was aseep on the seats and floor. I just meandered aimlessly around the areana looking for drinkable coffee !
Then....off to Paris.
I woke up the first morning in Paris and turned on CNN and the guy says " the dollar is at its lowest level against the Euro ..ever !" and I say " that isnt good news" and the guy on the TV says " you bet your sweet ass it isnt !" So I trundle down to the sandwhich place on Rue Marceau and say " Hey hand me one of those 35 dollar croque mossiers, sil vu plait "and to translate for you that means give me an over priced ham and chesse sandwhich ,Pal...Please...the dollar sucks so bad over here I feel like I am from Sierra Leone.....
However I have been having a lot of fun running around the 8th Arrondissement. Man you would not believe the Champs De Elysees. they have draped every last tree on the Champs with huge white christmas lights so it is brighter at night than in the day on the street and they have a huge French flag draped of the Arc De Triomph and it is really moving . I know it is no news flash but this is the most beautiful city anywhere. One beautiful neighborhood after another. Like I said I have been running around the 8th . And this street called Rue Marbeuf. If you ever get a chance check out this restaurant called La Fermette Marbeuf . It is a pristine example of Art Nouveau. It is stunning . It opened in 1900 and it is just jaw dropping . That is if you like Art Nouveau.
I am going to go over to the bird market by the Notre Dame today ,hey it is fun to look at Pheasants and the like . they were selling Ferrets last time I went there . I have a picture in my mind of me trying to force a Ferret up in the over head bin on the plane ride home " No ,no .....I got it ....he is just a little grumpy.....no the scratches will heal ....I just need an unguent.."
Talk at you later ..
